Sustainable Beef Article

This was an article I wrote for my Investigative Journalism Class in Fall 2022. I chose to do this piece because eating meat is an ethical dilemma for myself. I wanted to shed light on the beef industry and find out if local farming is a better alternative. In addition to hearing from local farmers on their animal welfare practices, I learned more about sustainable agriculture than I had originally anticipated. I am so happy to share my findings with others!
